You have 3 options: a brand new Audi RSQ3, a 1995 Ferrari 456 M V12 GT Manual or a 2007 Mercedes S600.

Kinja'd!!!

The 456 has 10k miles.

Kinja'd!!!

The Mercedes is armored.

RS Q3. And swap the body kit and the badges from a regular Q3 (and don’t forget the TDI badges). And I saw a blue one the other day in blue.

A 440hp V12 with a 6 speed is an option and this is a question?

456, a thousand times out of ten. It's like the perfect confluence of baroque and modern.

Not only would I choose the 456, I would also go as far out of my way as is humanly possible to literally take a shit on the other two options. How is this even a decision?

RS3. No Q. No 20-year-old-Ferrari repair bill for meh performance. No rolling tank. Manual swap from TT RS.

As beautiful as that 456 is I’d go with the RSQ3 because it’s probably the most “affordable”

Also, the Audi would most likely be easier to live with on a day to day basis.

They’re all so heavy. How about the 1996 Testarossa?

The Testarossa's run ended in 1995 with the 512M.

The 456GT above is just a GT, not an "M". The 456M wasn't available until 1998 and along with some internal changes, featured a different front fascia.

Regardless, I'd choose the 456GT over the other two without hesitation. In fact, I'd pick the 456GT over a LOT of cars, including many new ones. The 456GT is my favorite Ferrari four seater, and I've loved the thing since its introduction. It's got such an elegant, understated design, especially for a Ferrari. Yet you've still got a 436 horsepower V12 mated to a 6-speed gated shifter. Pure bliss.

Looked around a few different sources and you are correct.

Probably arbitrary anyway. Conversion from metric years, etc.
